"Find the Swamp" continues. Click here to get back to the original post. Several people have identified the location. However, several people talked to me today after The Big Proclamation and asked for hints. Read the comments attached to the orginal post to play along.
While I was there, I saw this bird flying over. It's not a good photo, but I want to know what kind of bird it is. It's big and it looks like an eagle to me.
Any birdbrains out there who can tell me for sure?

Definitely a bald eagle.
The "north shreveport" part of the post killed my idea of where this is. Is 15 comments a Daddy D record?
dunno for sure if that one is an eagle, but i know they live around here and, while riding my bike, i've seen one on the southwest end of the lake near which you took that shot.
btw, my brother once got a ticket for sneaking into that swampy area to do some clandestine bass fishing.
These comments should really narrow it down.
To answer the question about the record: Yes, and I'm still holding some comments because they pinpoint the location of the swamp.
If this IS an eagle, it's the first one I've ever seen arond here and it's pretty cool.
Defintely a bald eagle. I've seen them at Caddo lake and Cypress Lake, but not at Cross Lake.
It looks like a bald eagle to me.
